According to the half yearly hiring trends report by wisdom jobs finds that Retail (18%), Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals (11%), BFSI (8%), FMCG (8%) and BPO/ITeS (6%) were the sectors that created the maximum demand for talent says wisdom jobs career edge experts. The year-on-year report says that BFSI, BPO/ITeS, Consumer Durables, Automobiles and Infrastructure saw maximum growth in hiring across sectors during January-June in 2017 v/s January-June 2018.
IT/TELECOM
● IT sector saw 5% uptick in talent demand, software related profiles were hired most
● More jobs created for junior level, but demand was high for middle and senior level candidates
● IT/Telecom, Sales/Business Development and HR professionals saw huge talent demand
● Delhi-NCR recorded highest job creation across all three levels
● West Bengal had biggest job share in junior and top level; Uttar Pradesh held highest job share for middle level finds wisdom jobs reviews career experts
MANUFACTURING & ENGINEERING
● Manufacturing industry saw maximum growth of 5% in hiring activities during Jan-Jun 2018
● Entry level, HR professionals saw huge demand, Engineering profile had maximum job creation
● Maintenance Engineers witnessed maximum job growth while highest rise in talent demand at middle level
● Production and Maintenance had constant job creation for senior level jobs as compared to previous period
