According to the half yearly hiring trends report by wisdom jobs finds that Retail (18%), Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals (11%), BFSI (8%), FMCG (8%) and BPO/ITeS (6%) were the sectors that created the maximum demand for talent says wisdom jobs career edge experts. The year-on-year report says that BFSI, BPO/ITeS, Consumer Durables, Automobiles and Infrastructure saw maximum growth in hiring across sectors during January-June in 2017 v/s January-June 2018.
IT/TELECOM
● IT sector saw 5% uptick in talent demand, software related profiles were hired most
● More jobs created for junior level, but demand was high for middle and senior level candidates
● IT/Telecom, Sales/Business Development and HR professionals saw huge talent demand
● Delhi-NCR recorded highest job creation across all three levels
